We offer rest home facilities in a family home environment for elderly guest's, we believe this is most beneficial for relaxation and respite care. We also welcome independent travelling guests, who may require a respite holiday. Taking full advantage of your holiday, whilst enjoying the excellent facilities available to you. With professional respite care and support being constantly available throughout your stay if required.

Spain is the sunniest country in Europe and the climate on the Costa Blanca has been described by the world health organisation as among the healthiest in the world, boasting an average 310 days of sunshine each year, with excellent social amenities. Javea town, the popular Arenal beach and promenade and the old town port are all within easy access from the holiday home. Javea is surrounded by local towns such as Calpe, Denia and Moriara all hosting their own attractions and amenities and within 1 hour by vehicle Benidorm, Alicante and Valencia.

My name is Deborah Traylor I am the proprietor and manager of Javea Respite.
I have over 15 years experience and hold professional qualifications working within the client field of special needs, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and mental health disorders. I regularly attended as a committee member on The Hampshire Care Association board. Before commencing this project I held the position of homes manager/organisational care co-ordinator of a number of specialised homes located in the New Forest area of New Milton, Hampshire.
After a year of travelling and researching I have realised there are only a limited number of options available overseas for special needs. Mainland Spain was my choice of destination and selected due to its climate and ease of access from the U.K with average flight times of two hours. Javea Respite is located on the Northern Costa Blanca in the thriving coastal town of Javea having been successfully established since February 2004.
