Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they form an
essential part of our contract with you. They deal with your rights
and obligations to us and ours to you.
1. Contract: Your contract is with Javea Respite.
After we have received your signed booking form and deposit we
will issue you with your confirmed dates of your stay and the
agreement will come into force.
2. What is Included: * Our standard charges
are based on a fully inclusive accommodation, Laundry, People
carrier for social activities & airport transfers.
Not included: * Tourist attraction entry fee, Snacks & drinks
away from the villa, Flights, Uk transfers, Travel Insurance,
Spending money, Restaurant & bar bills
3. Prices: Prices are reviewed on an annual
basis. Once your booking form has been signed & your deposit
has been paid, Javea Respite will guarantee that there will be
no increase in the stated price of your holiday.
4. Payment: A 25% deposit must accompany bookings.
The balance is due six weeks before the commencement of the holiday.
Failure to pay the balance will result in cancellation and liability
to pay a charge in accordance with the following:-

Over 8 weeks 25% *
4 – 8 weeks 65% *
2 – 4 weeks 80% *
1 – 14 days or later 100% *

Bookings are non- transferable. Please notify us as soon as possible
6. Cancellation by You: If at any time you have
to cancel your holiday after the confirmed agreement, you must
do so either by letter or e-mail. This will be effective from
the date of receiving your letter. A cancellation fee will be
charged as set out above. The nearer the date of your holiday
the greater the charge made, reflecting the increased risks to
ourselves.
7. Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right
to cancel your booking for any reason outside our control or for
any reason when the needs of a guest lie outside the scope of
our facilities. (See below) We will either offer an alternative
holiday if possible or a full refund of all monies paid to Javea
Respite. This does not apply where the cancellation arises through
late or non-payment by you for the full cost of the holiday.
8. Insurance: The cost of the holiday does not
include your travel Insurance, cancellation, or other holiday
risks. Confirmation is required that your travel Insurance is
valid before your holiday date. We reserve the right to determine
whether those arrangements offer adequate protection for your
booking. In any event, you will be deemed to have indemnified
us for any loss we may incur on your behalf. Our Insurance covers
all risks occurring as a result of holiday accommodation only.
Your personal belongings are your own responsibility during your
stay. We accept no liability whatsoever for any accident, loss
or damage to your property.
9. Damage to Our property: We reserve the right
to charge for any damage to our property both during and after
your holiday.
10. Complaints: If you have any complaints you
must tell us immediately. We hope to solve the majority of problems
instantly. If we are unable to solve the problem straight away,
or to your satisfaction, we will ask you to fill in a complaints
form at that time, a copy of this will be forwarded onto your
home address.
If you wish to pursue your complaint after your stay, you must
write or verbally communicate, (which will be recorded)
to us at Javea Respite within 14 days of your departure from us,
setting out the details of your complaint. We will investigate
and undertake to respond within 14 days of receipt of your correspondence
to Javea Respite.
11. Personal Care: If guests visit independently
we may request a basic written care plan and a risk assessment plan
to accompany guests by a person who is familiar with their care,
or by the guest themselves if this is possible.
12. Arrival & Departure:Arrival after 3pm & Departure before
11am (guests unable to make the travel arrangements within these
times extended care cover is available at an additional charge).
13. Personal Injury or Sickness: Minor injuries
if caused at Javea Respite premises can be treated whilst at the
premises, any other concerns will be dealt with by way of a visit
to the local Doctors or Hospital, claims procedures will be covered
by their Insurance policies. (E111 policy or Travel Insurance). Please be advised Javearespite are not liable or responsible for any injuries caused whilst on our premises.
14. Personal Information: Details of guests
will be stored on our computer for future reference and treated
with confidence.
15. Valuables: Javea Respite cannot accept responsibility
for loss or damage to any guest’s personal Items or property
for the duration of their stay.
16. Interpretation: In these mentioned Terms
and Conditions the words ‘You’ & ‘Your’
refer either to the person making the booking or to any guest
included in the booking as appropriate.
