Javea Respite

This is your respite care holiday and you make the decisions.
Should you decide to take advantage of Javearespite on a full board basis, we offer you the following service. You decide where you want to go and what you want to do.
The staff, be it your own support carer or our in house care team, will assist, support and guide you when required.
Transport by people carrier is available when required although day trips and travel to some amenities can be reached independently by public services.

Due to the excellent weather that Spain provides, Javea Respite is open throughout the year. The summer months are gloriously long sunny and warm, alternatively the short winter months provide a sunny, warm comfortable environment with average daytime temperatures of 18 degrees centigrade. The excellent social amenities of Javea are open all year round

As part of a daily activity each guest is encouraged and assisted (where required) to complete a holiday diary which can be shown on their return to family, friends and staff.

What is Included

Transport by people carrier for social activities and Spanish airport transfers.
Client supervision for social activities available when requested.

Meals

Continental Breakfast
There is an alternative daily menu consisting of lunch and dinner.
Evening dinner will be accompanied by either the guest’s choice of water, soft drinks, beer or wine.
Each Wednesday is BBQ evening.
Tea, coffee and other hot drinks, squash and chilled water are available 24 hours.
Packed lunches are available by request.
The guest is welcome to use the villa's cooking facilities to cater for their individual requirements.
The option of eating out is always available at the local restaurants or cafes at the guests cost.

Medication

We are able to assist with medication if required.
For those guests who are self medicating please ensure sufficient medication is provided for the duration including the day of departure.
In the case of PRN medication it is advised to give an Indication of the frequency and likely circumstances.
By request a medication record can be provided.

Smoking

Within the villa a no smoking policy exists. We recognise that some guests may want to smoke and the villa has a designated outside smoking area.

Telephone

The home has its own telephone with calls being charged per minute as per Spanish rates.
Additionally the guest is free to use their own personal cellular mobile telephone.

Valuables

Safe keeping can be arranged with the manager and stored in the office safe.
All valuable assets must be declared upon admission for Insurance purposes.
